📸  Technical Basics

Photography is not only about creativity but also about understanding the **technical side of cameras**. The three most important settings that control how your photo looks are known as the **Exposure Triangle**: ISO, Shutter Speed, and Aperture.

1. ISO

* ISO measures the **sensitivity of your camera sensor to light**.

* Low ISO (100–200): Best for bright conditions, produces clean images.

* High ISO (800+): Useful in low light but may cause **grain/noise**.

2. Shutter Speed

* Shutter speed controls **how long the camera’s shutter stays open**.

* Fast shutter (1/1000s): Freezes motion (sports, wildlife).

* Slow shutter (1/10s or more): Creates motion blur or light trails.

 3. Aperture (f-stop)

* Aperture is the **opening in the lens** that controls how much light enters.

* Wide aperture (f/1.8): Brighter image, shallow depth of field (blurry background).

* Narrow aperture (f/16): Darker image, deep depth of field (everything sharp).

4. White Balance

* Adjusts the color temperature of an image.

* Ensures whites look white under different lighting conditions (daylight, tungsten, fluorescent).

5. RAW vs JPEG

* **RAW:** High-quality, uncompressed, best for editing.

* **JPEG:** Compressed, smaller file size, easier to share.

 ðŸŽ¯ Conclusion

By mastering ISO, shutter speed, and aperture, photographers gain full control over how images turn out. Combine this with proper white balance and file format choice, and you’re on your way to capturing professional-quality photos.
